- Assess Emergency Management (EM), CBRNE, and COOP hazards and threats
- Conduct CBRN and HAZMAT preparedness and survivability and force health protection assessments
- Use policies, plans, and procedures to manage diverse emergencies including natural disasters, accidents, and hostile incidents
- Determine vulnerabilities of assets and infrastructure
- Contribute to All Hazards Threat Assessments (AHTA) development and validation
- Apply risk assessment techniques to support enterprise risk management
- Recommend risk‑reducing actions to protect mission‑critical assets
- Write highly technical reports and brief findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with team and staff on mission activities and product quality control
- 7+ years planning, managing, or assessing emergency management or related activities
- Expert knowledge of risk management, security operations, and advanced security technologies
- Knowledge of EM risk management processes such as AHTA and capability‑based assessment
- Technical report writing for emergency management and preparedness assessments
- Knowledge of Health Force Protection is a plus
- Familiarity with the DoD Mission Assurance Construct
- Familiarity with Air Force EM, CBRNE, and COOP programs is a plus
- Demonstrated knowledge of protecting classified and sensitive information
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is highly desirable
- Professional certification in emergency management or business continuity such as CEM or CBPC is highly desirable
- Hazmat certifications aligned with DoD, DOT, or OSHA are highly desirable
- NFPA certifications are a plus
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Must travel up to 25% per year and hold a valid U.S. passport
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as filing and scanning
- Work may be sedentary 50% of the time
- Occasional building traversal required at a physical location
- Manage stress with maturity and professionalism
- Demonstrate critical thinking, leadership, and teamwork
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Other duties as assigned
- Position contingent on contract award
