POLICY Program Specialist Security Clearance

Position: POLICY PROGRAM SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will coordinate DON leadership participation in senior DoD executive forums and strategic meetings on policy, strategy, and resource investments led by the Secretary of Defense, Deputy Secretary of Defense, and military/civilian officials.
* You will analyze DoD read-aheads with Service HQ staff to conduct prep sessions for the Under Secretary and senior DON officials.
* You will coordinate DoD/DON strategy and policy proposals for Secretary approval and monitor national security policy development and implementation.
* You will analyze and evaluate sensitive matters through special studies, ensuring maritime perspectives are fully integrated.
* You will serve as the DON point of contact for policy and strategy staffing actions including I coordination on national and DoD policy, various reports, and proposed responses to Congress. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* PCS is not authorized Qualifications GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Reviewing proposed processes and policies and monitoring policy implementation with supervision;
Preparing presentations regarding organization-wide findings to senior level military and civilian officials. GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Reviewing proposed processes and policies and monitoring policy implementation;
Presenting organization-wide findings to senior level military and civilian officials (e.g., preparing and participating in executive governance forums and meetings related to strategic, policy, or resource management decisions).
