Position: MANAGEMENT ANALYST with Security Clearance
Duties Duty 1 - Supports the A10 organizational mission by collaborating with the Air Staff, Major Commands, and Joint, departmental, and national agency mission partners. Duty 2 - Prepares official correspondence and responses articulating the Air Force nuclear enterprise equities across the Air Staff, Major Commands, and Joint, departmental, and national agency mission partners. Duty 3 - Develops, assists in development, and/or reviews national leadership, DoD, COCOM, Joint, Air Force, and higher headquarters policy, briefings, studies, reports, operations planning documents, Congressional testimony and taskings, official correspondence and documents, and/or other relevant documents and materials that impact the Air Force nuclear enterprise missions, forces, and capabilities.

Duty 4 - Develops and implements processes for A10 Joint readers to codify processing of responses to Joint Staff actions packages (JSAPs) and taskings to include taskings for the SecAF and/or CSAF. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Incumbent must obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance (TS)

* This position is subject to provisions of the DoD Priority Placement Program
* This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use
* There may be occasional contact with congressional offices or the General Accounting Office on specific claims or protests
* An advanced degree in science, math, or other appropriate degree, and operations research experience is highly desired
* Completed work is reviewed by the supervisor for effectiveness and compatibility with current United States Air Force mission objectives and success in obtaining acceptance of recommendations by Air Force leadership
* Disclosure of Political Appointments
* Advance in hire may be authorized if there is demonstrable proof provided on your resume
* Must be able to work outside normal day working hours and on weekends
* Conduct process and analysis relating to nuclear planning, policy, transformation, future concepts, and capability requirements
* Develops innovative solutions and implements instructions for new policies and procedures
* Leave accrual may be authorized upon request
* Must exhibit a high degree of judgment, resourcefulness, originality, and the ability to foresee the impact of changing technology
* Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period
* Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-12, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes mastery of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of critical organizational plans and programs participating in or conducting major operations such as: mission; training; deployment; mobilization;
Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE); special operations; and contingency or similar operations. Ability to evaluate MAJCOM and Air Staff responses to plans and studies.
