Irregular Warfare Analyst, Senior – As an irregular warfare policy advisor, you will work in a fast‑paced environment supporting executive‑level audiences and high‑performing teams.

• Draft materials for senior executive leadership, including read‑aheads and talking points for bilateral and multilateral international policy engagements.
• Plan and conduct experimentation such as wargame or exercise planning.
• Serve as lead action officer for trips accompanying senior leaders for international or domestic engagements.
• Prepare and brief senior civilian and uniformed military leaders for their engagements.
• Support Congressional engagements and advise executives on significant security cooperation initiatives.

• 3+ years of experience with OUSD‑Policy, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and Theater Special Operations Commands.
• Experience drafting materials for senior executive leadership, including read‑aheads and talking points.
• Experience with experimentation such as wargame or exercise planning.
• Knowledge of OUSD‑Policy and Joint Staff processes and culture.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience preparing and briefing senior civilian and uniformed leaders.
• Experience as lead action officer for senior‑leader trips.
• Experience supporting Congressional engagements.
• Experience working with Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC).
• Knowledge of DOD‑level planning processes.
• Master’s degree in International Relations or Political Science.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). Salary is determined by factors such as location, education, skills, and experience.
