Knowledge & Strategic Management Lead
Amentum is seeking a Knowledge & Strategic Management Lead for the Army Protection Program (APP) to support the Pentagon under the Department of the Army's G-3/5/7 Operations Readiness and Mobilization Support contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic, policy, programmatic, and technical expertise to enable the Strategy, Plans, and Policy Branch to support the HQDA Protection Division.
- Assisting in drafting, editing, and staffing written documents for integrating the APP and protection-related functions into Army strategic documents.
- Supporting the annual Army Protection Program Assessments (APPA) trend report.
- Assisting the Government with preparing guidance/tasking/data calls for forwarding from the APPBOD to supporting elements.
- Providing administrative support to the APP management framework.
- Preparing written recommendations for forwarding from the APPBOD to Army decision makers or enterprise level management/resource bodies.
- Analyzing and providing written recommendations in support of Army Protection connected tasks.
- Ensuring timely and accurate document control between HQDA Army Protection Division's internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating to ensure information is shared with other Army/DoD enterprise management boards.
- Providing staff support for administrative functions to ensure accurate and timely responses to SACO and Joint Actions Control Officer tasking.
- Supporting the Branch in the development and maintenance of the APP's strategic roadmap.
- Assisting in the review and analysis of existing Army policies and regulations related to protection.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of related experience with Knowledge Management.
- Experience working in headquarters environments on the Army/Joint Staff and/or Major Army Commands.
- Working knowledge and experience utilizing the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2).
- Operational experience using standard automated toolsets to monitor database performance and maintain database operation.
- Experience with planning and execution of working groups.
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.
- Ability to work within Government-provided software packages with emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Army Policy related to protection functions.
- Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. (
Please note:
US citizenship is required to obtain a US security clearance). - Must have an active US Passport and the ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS. Less than 10% travel is expected for this position.
- Prior military experience, especially relating to C-IED.
