Foreign Clearance Program SME

To effectively operate globally, organizations need help looking at their operation from the outside. Whether standing up a new organization, transforming an existing one, or transitioning an organization, our clients need a management professional possessing a detailed understanding of and compliance with host-nation sovereignty laws, foreign clearance requirements, and stringent arms control agreements. That's why we need you, a seasoned professional who knows how to analyze every aspect of your customer's global operations and use your expertise to minimize risk and delays that may occur due to misinterpretation or misalignment with international clearance policies.

As a leader on our team, you'll ensure every AF operation remains free of clearance impediments and compliance with international agreements, enabling effective mission accomplishment while maintaining operational diplomacy. You'll be responsible for managing and maintaining the Foreign Clearance Guide, ensuring it contains accurate, up-to-date, relevant information aligning with current treaties, policies, and jurisdictional requirements. This is a chance to enable operational excellence, strengthen compliance with agreements, improve interagency and international collaboration, and enhance national security.

Work with us as we help support the nation's nuclear deterrence mission. Join us. The world can't wait.

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Foreign Clearance Programs (FCP)
  • 5+ years of experience in the Department of War (DoW) Foreign Clearance Program (FCP), including working on Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS) policy and procedures
  • Experience processing and coordinating country clearance and theater clearance
  • Experience in planning, directing, and managing complex and extended projects and operations
  • Ability to use tools supporting data analysis and usable reporting such as Excel, Share Point, and database tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an international relations, national security studies, political science, or public administration field
  • 1+ years of experience in providing critical Airlift Forces support
  • Experience with HQ USAF, Joint Staff, or STRATCOM
  • Experience with foreign clearance data systems and reporting tools, and international sovereignty issues such as aircraft boarding, customs and inspections, or arctic sovereignty
  • Experience with AF foreign military and foreign operating rights
  • Knowledge of international treaties and agreements relevant to military operations
  • Ability to coordinate international meetings, visits, and conferences with U.S. Air Force and DoW personnel
  • Possession of excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Completion of DoW Defense Travel System (DTS) Training
  • Cybersecurity, Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification
