Export Compliance Specialist (Mid)

As an Export Compliance Specialist (Mid), you will provide export compliance support to a Department of Defense customer supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office mission. Bring your compliance mindset, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate across stakeholders to help ensure international program activities are conducted in accordance with applicable export control requirements.

In this role, you will support mission-critical international activities, coordinate with government and contractor personnel, maintain compliance documentation, and help ensure regulatory requirements are met. Your efforts will directly contribute to supporting military customers and advancing the success of the F-35 program.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Support export compliance reviews, documentation, tracking, and coordination for international program activities.
  • Assist with preparing, reviewing, and maintaining export compliance records, correspondence, and approval packages.
  • Coordinate with government, Serco, and contractor personnel to support timely completion of export compliance actions.
  • Help monitor compliance requirements, action items, deadlines, and supporting documentation.
  • Support meetings, briefings, and data calls related to export compliance and international security activities.
  • Provide detailed administrative and analytical support to help ensure compliance processes are accurate, complete, and well documented.
  • Assist in preparing reports, briefings, correspondence, metrics, and tracking spreadsheets.
  • Maintain sensitive records and documentation in accordance with applicable compliance and security requirements.

To Be Successful in This Role,

You Will Have:

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience related to export compliance, international programs, security administration, compliance support, or related Department of Defense mission support functions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to work on-site in Arlington, Virginia, Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive documentation and recurring suspense actions.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with government and contractor personnel.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required.

Education Equivalency:

  • Master's Degree plus 10 years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • Bachelor's Degree plus an additional 14 years of relevant experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current and Active Secret Clearance.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance preferred.
  • Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility preferred.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance preferred and utilized within the last two years.
  • Prior experience working in a secure facility.
  • Prior experience working in a security countermeasure environment.
  • Experience supporting administrative processes and document management in a secure environment.
  • Experience preparing reports, briefings, executive summaries, and tracking tools.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense programs and international activities.

Additional Information:

  • Position is 100% on-site in Arlington, Virginia.
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
  • Approximately 10% travel may be required.
