Job Title
Develop innovative and strategic programs on behalf of the Chief, Legislative Affairs. Develop business processes and policies on matters not governed by higher echelons or regulatory guidance. Formulate official responses to written and telephonic requests from Members of Congress, their staff, and Congressional committees.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience;

Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes Managing and coordinating legislative analysis and strategy for an organization to include management of legislative analysts; developing organizational and Legislative Strategy on Congressional Objectives to facilitate successful engagements between Senior Leaders and Members of Congress; coordinating the submission and analysis of legislative proposals to the Administration; monitoring congressional activities to determine potential impacts to the organization;
advising senior leaders on all congressional matters. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
