Air Force Community Partnership Program Specialist

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and develop deliverables in compliance with Department of War (DoW), federal, state, and local statutes, regulations, and policies.
  • Conduct site visits to formalize community partnerships between DAF installations, state or local governments, and non-DoD agencies.
  • Provide technical support and policy advising for intergovernmental support agreements and inter-agency partnerships, manage data, foster stakeholder relations, and benchmark innovative approaches to shared services.
  • Manage the lifecycle for community partnerships agreements and track progress.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend meetings across all levels of the DAF enterprise, and with other DoW Services.
  • Assist installations and local communities as they identify and negotiate partnerships that reduce costs and enhance resilience and mission readiness.
  • Participate in DAF subject matter workgroup meetings, including agenda development and providing meeting minutes.
  • Develop materials and facilitate meetings during site visits.
  • Support routine and annual data calls associated with the program.
  • Support strategic growth efforts related to the Department of the Air Force and Air National Guard.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
  • Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, planning, public policy, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting DoD/Air Force Community Partnership Programs.
  • Experience with meeting facilitation, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Experiential knowledge of the Department of Air Force and/or Air National Guard is preferred.
  • Active DoD security clearance of “Secret” or ability to obtain a security clearance if required.
This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.
