- As a Director of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery you will be responsible for the following duties (If selected at the GS-11,12,13 levels, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity):
- Serve as a Plans professional leveraging operational planning team best practices, in accordance with formal planning doctrine (e.g. Joint Publication 5-0, Joint Planning, in VUCA ("volatile", "uncertain", "complex", and "ambiguous") environments.
- Serve as subject matter expert in continuity programs, contingency / crisis response planning and policy development, and NS/EP.
- Perform a wide range of operational planning duties to include operational analysis, concept development, inter-organizational coordination, and evaluation and refinement of current emergency preparedness
