Duties
* Senior technical advisor to the Division Chief for matters pertaining to the planning, procurement, and specifications of airborne ISR sensors. Guides the Chief, Sensors Division on branch efforts to articulate requirements for and advocate on behalf of development of future sensors.
* Serves as a senior technical authority on ISR issues. Makes authoritative recommendations and defends decisions on operations policy matters to the Director and is often required to make difficult funding prioritization recommendations impacting future capabilities.
* Serves as a senior adviser and primary consultant in the dissemination of multi-source intelligence. Leads a wide variety of complex and non-routine collection and operations projects/programs/teams to support component, combatant command, and support agency planning and operations. Interprets and makes analytic judgments on broad-based and domain/discipline-agnostic intelligence products, applications, capabilities, and resources.
* Serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative for all contractors assigned to A2/6U. Monitors Contractor performance and ensures the standards in the Performance Work Statement are met.
* Works with the Division Chief in planning, organizing, and overseeing the activities of the Division. Formulates program goals, plans, policies, and procedures and work plans dealing with the development and operation of Sensors Division functions and activities; participates in providing both technical and administrative direction to subordinate branch chiefs and through them their assigned nonsupervisory employees. * An advanced intelligence-related or professional/scientific degree is highly desirable.
* The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments. Qualifications This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include a mastery of and skill in applying a comprehensive range of intelligence research, collection methods, dissemination applications and methodologies that includes the evaluation of many diverse sources of information utilizing multiple intelligence information systems in order to develop intelligence capability and threat assessments.
Amasses and reviews in detail intelligence data using multi-source expertise from either regional or functional background/training to current and operational intelligence missions. Demonstrates knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships, and operations.

Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.…
