As a Defense Mission Expert for the Air Force, you'll bring leadership, workforce strategy, manpower analytics, organizational design, and policy integration expertise to work alongside thought leaders in analytics, digital, and operations on projects for defense and national security missions. You'll use your skills and expertise to analyze, assess, plan, and optimize Air Force manpower structures, talent pipelines, and force presentation models that sustain readiness 'll evaluate and optimize complex force presentation concepts, enterprise manpower requirements, and resourcing policies across service and joint missions, translating strategic priorities into actionable workforce plans that improve readiness, retention, and service delivery.

• 8+ years of experience in defense or military manpower analysis, workforce planning, or human capital strategy
• 8+ years of experience applying enterprise manpower methods for the Air Force
• Experience delivering executive- level advisory support and decision analysis for HQ-level stakeholders
• Knowledge of USAF manpower policies, processes, and tools, including end-to-end requirements development, distribution, and assignment policy integration
• Ability to perform workforce analytics and data-driven approaches to optimize organizational structure, talent pipelines, and readiness outcomes
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

• Experience leading or contributing to enterprise-scale manpower initiatives such as force presentation studies, requirements validation, and resource allocation, that drive measurable readiness or cost efficiencies
• Experience leading medium to large teams or organizations delivering HR and personnel programs
• Knowledge of DOTMLPF, MDMP, JCIDS, and related PPBE or force development processes
• Knowledge of Joint officer management and assignment policy across multi-component teams
• Ability to implement organizational design, change management, and leadership development, to elevate Air Force workforce experience and retention
• TS/SCI clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
