Overview
Purpose & Scope:
Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of views that will require ingenuity and initiative in applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for Quality Control and Quality Assurance activities required by the ACR and the FDA to maintain certification in the area of Mammography.
Associate’s degree in radiography is required or, Graduate of an accredited certificate program for radiography is required
ExperienceTwo Years Of Experience In Mammography Is Preferred.
Certification/LicensureRegistered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. Mammography certification is preferred.
