Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to join top-tier educational teams across Virginia for the upcoming school year.

This position is ideal for clinicians who enjoy a collaborative, supportive school environment. Key Responsibilities

Direct Intervention:
Provide individual and small-group therapy for students with diverse communication needs, including articulation disorders, language delays, pragmatics, ASD, and fluency.

Assessments & IEPs:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, write compliant IEP goals, and lead progress reporting.

Team

Collaboration:

Partner with special education staff, classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success in the classroom.

Case Management:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in alignment with state regulations and district procedures.

Caseload & Setting Highlights

Target Populations:
Opportunities range from K5 Elementary settings to secondary placements.

Typical Caseload Sizes:
Manageable numbers (frequently averaging around 4045 students depending on district and location).

Focus Areas:

  • Articulation & Phonological Disorders
  • Expressive & Receptive Language Delays
  • Pragmatic / Social Language Deficits
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Fluency & Developmental Delays
Qualifications

Education:

Masters or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Communication Sciences & Disorders.

Licensure:
Active (or eligible to obtain) Minnesota SLP License.

Certifications:

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Experience:

Previous school-based or pediatric clinical experience preferred, but adaptable clinicians with strong collaboration skills are encouraged to apply.
