Job Summary

Does it bring you joy to assist the elderly with daily activities? We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist an 86 year old lady in Arlington. She uses a walker and needs assistance with ADLs to include showering, dressing, and transfers. She lives at home with her son and his wife. Care is needed Tuesday, Wednedsay, Thursday, 8am to 2pm.

• Hourly rate of $17 to $21 per hour based on licensing and experience.
• Time and a half for major holidays.

Build caring relationships with seniors as you help them safely improve their quality of life.

Must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:

• Follows the instructions of the RN Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.
• Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
• Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.
• Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client’s home or any significant observations regarding the client.
• Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.
• Report client complaints to the RN Supervisor.
• Report abnormal findings in client’s conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.

• Experience:
  
  Two years of experience as a Caregiver. Must have CNA license, CNA certificate, PCA, or HHA.
• Preferred:
  Hindi speaker
• Requirements:
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Current Driver's License
• Current TB test
• Reliable transportation, able to travel throughout Fairfax County and surrounding areas
• Immunizations to include COVID-19 and flu strongly encouraged
