Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Canyon Orthopedics Clinic, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations, designing individualized treatment plans, and implementing effective therapy sessions based on physician referrals.
- Administering care across various specialties, including orthopedic rehabilitation, neurology, pediatrics, and sports medicine, adapting your approach to meet specific patient needs.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and attuning to the individual concerns of each patient, fostering a welcoming and caring therapeutic environment.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
- Providing skilled therapeutic care and utilizing specialized techniques to enhance functional recovery in alignment with the physician's prescribed care plan.
- Educating and instructing patients and their caregivers on therapy protocols, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing recovery.
- Meeting established productivity and performance targets to ensure efficient service delivery and contribute to the clinic's objectives.

QualificationsTo qualify for this role, candidates must possess:
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid physical therapy state license.
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, particularly in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside proficiency in word processing and electronic health records.
- A passion for building therapeutic relationships and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
While the minimum requirement is two years of experience, candidates with experience in advanced therapeutic modalities, familiarity with electronic documentation systems, and a background in community outreach will be preferred. Skills in handling special populations, such as pediatric or geriatric patients, are also valuable.
