WorkEnvironment
The work setting is onsite at our Arlington Rehabilitation Center, where you will engage directly with patients in a friendly and professional environment. As part of our orthopedic team, you will work alongside skilled healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, creating a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities.
- Develop, implement, and oversee personalized treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility and quality of life.
- Consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care throughout the patient's treatment journey.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and adjustments while adhering to professional standards and regulations.
- Engage with patients and their families to educate them about treatment options and strategies for ongoing care.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives that promote health awareness and rehabilitation services.
- Supervise and mentor support staff and students, contributing to their professional development.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to achieve optimal patient outcomes through coordinated efforts.
- Attend regular staff meetings and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical expertise.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on evidence-based practice and patient feedback.
This role will primarily serve patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or debilitating conditions. Our team addresses a diverse range of issues—including post-operative rehabilitation, joint pain, and sports-related injuries—ensuring our interventions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Inclusivity is fundamental; you will serve patients across various age groups and cultural backgrounds, ensuring the highest standards of care are accessible to everyone.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
While not mandatory, we highly value prior experience in orthopedic therapy settings. Familiarity with specific rehabilitation methodologies and tools, such as manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise protocols, will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Experience in leadership positions or community health initiatives is also a plus.
Compensation and BenefitsThis role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
