Role Overview
The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity in a senior living environment. Their primary responsibilities include administering medications per physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration, and documenting accurately in MAR/TAR in real time. They observe residents during and after medication passes, monitor symptoms, and report any concerns or refusals promptly.
The role involves maintaining clean medication carts and rooms, adhering to infection control and safety standards, and completing narcotic counts according to policy.

- High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
- Medication Administration certification
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Preferred experience in senior care
