Phlebotomist III
Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomist III to support our client's medical facility based in Arlington, VA. This is a contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Monday - Wednesday and Friday: 9am - 5:30pm, Thursday: 11am - 6pm
Pay Range/Salary Range: $26.35

Contract Duration: 3+ months
Job Description:
- Perform blood collection procedures for patients of all ages, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Prepare and handle specimens accurately for laboratory testing following established procedures.
- Provide coverage across multiple locations, including patient service centers, physician offices, mobile sites, and long-term care facilities.
- Deliver exceptional patient care by creating comfortable and professional experience during specimen collection.
- Support daily operations and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
- Serve as a mentor, coach, and resource for new team members and assist with onboarding activities.
- Act as a point of contact for onsite staff and provide operational support when needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure accuracy of patient information and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Laboratory Services, Billing, IT, and Logistics.
- Handle high-volume workloads while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience required.
- Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collections.
- Prior experience in a Patient Service Center (PSC) or In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) environment preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and data entry skills.
- Ability to travel between locations and adapt to varying work environments.
