Summary

The Assistant Director of Operations is responsible for the smooth functioning of the hotel's Rooms and F&B divisions (Operations). This position will incorporate a significant amount of Food and Beverage duties and will report to the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will work with direct reports (Department Heads) to develop and implement departmental strategies and ensure the implementation of brand standards, strategies, and initiatives.

The Assistant Director of Operations will ensure targets are met in regard to customer service and colleague satisfaction, focus on growing revenues, and maximize the financial performance of the division by working closely with managers to achieve goals. As a member of the Assistant Leadership Team, the Assistant Director of Operations will support the implementation of property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of guests and colleagues.

Salary Range: $95,000-$115,000

Qualifications
  • Multiple years of progressive experience in operations – F&B (including Banquets) & Rooms background is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience leading teams of Managers
  • Prior food and beverage leadership preferred.
  • Availability to work various shifts including afternoons, evenings, holidays, and weekends
  • Hyatt experience preferred
