Role Overview

The Global VP, Head of Global HR Business Partnership & People Strategy is responsible for aligning business objectives with people strategies across all regions and lines of business. This role serves as a primary coach and advisor to the executive team and global HRBP team driving organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, workforce planning, leadership development, and inclusive people practices that fuel business performance, growth, engagement and culture.

This role blends strategic partnership, organizational development, expertise in global HR practices, and the ability to influence business outcomes in highly matrixed and diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Leadership & Business Partnership
  • Serve as a strategic partner to global business leaders, anticipating talent needs and embedding HR solutions into business planning and decision‑making.
  • Shape and deliver HR strategies that directly support business plans, organizational scaling, performance excellence, and future talent pipelines.
  • Influence leaders through data‑driven insights, organizational diagnostics, and robust workforce analysis.
Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness
  • Develop and lead global workforce planning processes to forecast talent needs and close capability gaps.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development to design compelling talent strategies.
  • Drive talent management, including succession planning, performance management, career development, and organizational design.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to deliver integrated solutions across talent acquisition, total rewards, leadership development, culture, and workforce planning.
  • Mentor and identify key talent, ensuring strong leadership pipelines and capability building.
  • Build scalable people processes and strengthen leadership maturity across the organization.
Change Leadership & Culture
  • Champion large‑scale change initiatives, ensuring HR is a key enabler of business transformation and organizational resilience.
  • Coach senior leaders through organizational transitions, with a focus on people impact and communication.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high‑performance culture aligned with business goals.
  • Lead and support Engagement, Inclusion, and culture strategies, ensuring they are embedded across teams and functions.
Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Provide expert counsel on complex HR issues, ensuring consistency with company policies, global employment laws, and ethical practices.
  • Oversee sensitive escalations and coordinate with regional HR teams to ensure fair outcomes and risk mitigation.
  • Leverage HR data and workforce analytics to anticipate challenges, assess risks, and shape proactive strategies.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to ensure HR processes are standardized globally while enabling local adaptability.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant HRBP experience in global and/or matrixed organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
    Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Senior HR leadership experience partnering with business executives in a global context, with a track record of shaping strategy and outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in global manufacturing and plant human resources.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in organizational development, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex business needs into HR strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership presence, influencing skills, and trusted advisor capabilities across cultures and levels.
  • Deep knowledge of global employment law and compliance frameworks.
