Receptionist / HR Coordinator - Main Event Caterers

The Receptionist / Human Resources (HR) Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for employees, clients, vendors, and guests while providing administrative support to the Human Resources department. This role is ideal for a highly organized, personable professional looking to build a career in HR within a luxury hospitality environment. The position is 100% in-office, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet employees, clients, vendors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Answer phones, manage correspondence, and maintain the reception area.
• Provide administrative support to the HR Manager.
• Assist with recruiting, interviews, onboarding, and new-hire paperwork.
• Maintain confidential employee files and HR records.
• Assist with employee changes, HRIS updates, background checks, and offboarding.
• Help coordinate employee communications, training, and engagement initiatives.
• Support general office administration and special projects as needed.
• Provide a high level of professionalism and service consistent with a luxury hospitality company.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, polished, and service-oriented demeanor.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Education and Experience:

• 1–2 years of administrative, hospitality, customer service, or HR experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
