Recruiter, Recruiter ​/ Talent Acquisition

Our client is a media organization providing diverse programming, trusted news, and community-focused educational services across TV and digital platforms. The Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract, engage, and hire high-quality talent, supporting organizational staffing needs. This is a full time, contract position, onsite, based in Arlington, VA, with a pay range of $35-$43 per hour.

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop strategies.
• Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, networks, and community organizations.
• Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, coordinate interviews, and support the hiring process.
• Prepare offers, coordinate background checks, and ensure timely onboarding.
• Maintain applicant records, ensure compliance with employment laws, and support onboarding activities.
• Build talent pipelines and promote the organization’s brand through outreach and recruitment marketing.
• Track recruitment metrics, analyze data, and support continuous process improvements.

• High School Diploma / GED; BA/BS preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources.
• Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.

• Experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels and conducting assessments.
• Professional certifications in human resources or recruitment are a plus.
