ECS is seeking a Senior Service Now Architect to work remotely. The ECS team is at the center of providing support to JCDC as they continue to plan, share, and respond to cyber threats in real time to support the greater cyber community and we are looking to grow our team supporting this critical mission. ECS is seeking a talented Senior Service Now Architect to join our successful and growing team supporting the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC).
The JCDC is CISA’s flagship initiative for uniting government, industry, and international partners to proactively defend against cyber threats.
- Architect or consult on the architecture of project. Responsible for ensuring the solution has long term viability vs short term gain.
- Provide support in sales opportunities as needed.
- Maintain training and knowledge of designated applications, as well as IT and Service Now related certifications.
- Ensure business processes and stories align with the technical solution, including story pointing for customer projects.
- Perform discovery work sessions todeterminethe solution requirements.
Assistin gathering and/or reviewing clients process requirements andassistingon how they map to Service Now. - Perform design work sessions and produce deliverables, including mock-ups, flow diagrams,high-levelarchitectureand design documentsetc.
- Assist customers with proof-of-concept activities.
- Identify new opportunities to provideadditionalvalue to clients and improve business performance.
- Maintain high levelof client satisfaction.
- Provide training, technical consulting and mentoring to technical consultants to ensure efficient use of Service Now capabilities.
- Perform development and configuration activities as needed.
- Understand Solution Architect roleand responsibilities in the ECS Elitemethodology.
- Participate in recurring Solution Architect focused sessions.
- Must be a US Citizen per contract, no dual Citizenships.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance or higher.
- Must be able to work across multiple programs across the Federal and DOD space.
- Functional and technical knowledge of Service Now.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with 5+ years focused on the Service Now platform, including custom app development and system integrations, and 3+ years as a Service Now Solution Architect.
- Functional knowledge and implementation experience with SPM and App Engine.
- Functional knowledge and implementation experience of a minimum of 2 of the following Service Now modules (ITSM, ITOM, PSDS, SAM, HAM)
- Understanding of Enterprise Solutionsincluding Customer Service, Human Resources, Project Management, etc.
- Knowledge of Integrations such asLDAP, AD, SSO, Email Infrastructure, Web Services.
- 2+ years of experience building custom applications in Service Now.
- Knowledge of relational databases.
- Strong desireto learnnew technology.
- Minimum of two Service Now Implementation Specialist Certification (or completion within 6 months of start of position).
- Service Now Certified System Administrator.
- Strong customer relations and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare for,facilitate and lead customer work sessions.
- Demonstrates basic Service Now development skills.
- Possesses ability to create process flow diagrams and high-level architecture and documentation.
- Experience in Agile methodology.
- DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance.
- Experience supporting federal cybersecurity programs (e.g., CDM, CISA, DHS).
- Background in cybersecurity, compliance automation, or secure workflow design
- Experience with following Service Now Modules:
Sec Ops Security Incident Response (SIR), Sec Ops Vulnerability Response, and HRSD
