Position: Naval Maintenance Policy Analyst- Washington, DC with Security Clearance

This Navy Maintenance Policy Analyst will be working with the Navy section responsible for supporting maritime readiness. Bring your experience and collaborative skills to make an impact toward improving our military defense planning and combat readiness.

Serco supports the U.S. Navy as a sub- contractor for their Integrated Readiness Modeling, Technical and Professional Support Services contract. Our team conducts analysis and provides software development and lifecycle support for a portfolio of integrated applications used by the Navy to determine future fleet readiness requirements. You will be part of a Team that works closely with our customer to ensure that our Navy is accurately resourced to provide the required level of readiness.

This position is contingent upon the availability to maintain/transfer a DoD Secret Security Clearance In this role, you will:
* Be working with a team of active-duty Navy, Government Service and contractor individuals.
* Be working with ADVANA, DOD's premier enterprise data and analytics platform.
* Working with Navy ship maintenance data, migrating it from an Oracle database to the AVANA environment.
* Monitoring Navy ship maintenance trends using your knowledge of ship maintenance and supply processes. To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
* A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, mathematics or related field and 10 years of military service (DoD civilian included) or defense business operations analysis.
* Familiarity with Navy ship maintenance policy, or Navy readiness reporting.
* 8 years of experience related to Navy Ship maintenance policy and a working knowledge of ship depot maintenance and supply processes.
* Experience with analytical tools and databases such as PBIS, Jupiter, AVANA, Tableau and Qlik Company Overview Serco Inc. (Serco) is the Americas division of Serco Group, plc.
