Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Program Manager with an active TS/SCI security clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Arlington, VA.

Koniag Data Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to lead IT support services for a major government client. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership for IT operations across multiple locations. This role requires exceptional leadership experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to effectively manage complex IT programs.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Oversee and supervise a team of 60+ IT professionals and associated tasks to ensure they are performed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in compliance with all requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategic IT program plans that align with customer requirements and organizational objectives.
  • Act as a single point of management for all contract tasks, serving as the primary lead for project administration and execution.
  • Manage, track, and evaluate performance relative to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and promote positive customer experiences.
  • Develop and maintain a Project Management Plan (PMP) consisting of control policies, risk identification, and standard industry practices.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly performance and progress reports outlining expenditures, billings, status, and any encountered issues.
  • Implement recommended metrics reporting solutions for data-driven tasks to support compliance and performance, ensuring reporting is available on daily, weekly, monthly, or annual intervals.
  • Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs while identifying proactive and reactive improvement opportunities.
  • Manage workforce planning to ensure appropriately cleared and technically qualified staff are maintained to always meet support requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders within the customer organization to ensure alignment on project goals.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • 15+ years of experience in IT Program Management, systems engineering, or managing data center operations and IT infrastructure.
  • Proven expertise in providing analysis of existing processes, requirements, and systems to determine operational functionality.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize complex tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with Network or System Engineering, Help Desk Operations, and Asset Management would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically for preparing and briefing executive government leadership.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to manage schedules and financial risks.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and negotiate the needs and expectations of multiple high-level stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • ITIL Certification.
Clearance Requirement:
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
