Program: U.S. Air Force Enterprise IT Support
Shift: Day Shift Agensys Corporation is supporting enterprise IT operations within a U.S. Air Force environment and is seeking a Walk-Up Help Desk / Desktop Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support at the Pentagon. This role supports end users in a secure DoD environment and serves as a Tier 2 point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software issues within a mission-critical enterprise setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide walk-up and desk-side technical support to end users
* Respond to user requests via phone and in person
* Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues
* Install, configure, and modify computer hardware and software
* Support Windows operating systems and standard enterprise applications
* Troubleshoot printer, workstation, and user account issues
* Escalate complex issues as appropriate
* Provide user guidance and basic technical training
* Fulfill service requests within defined performance standards
Required Qualifications
* Active DoD Secret clearance
* Associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
(Two years of relevant experience may substitute for degree)
* Minimum 2 years of IT support experience (at least 1 year in a specialized desktop support role)
* Experience supporting Windows operating systems
* Familiarity with networking fundamentals and email systems
* Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred Experience
* Experience supporting U.S. Air Force or DoD enterprise environments
* Experience working within the Pentagon
* Experience in enterprise field operations or Tier 2 support environments
