How a Systems Administrator Will Make an ImpactResponsible for the installation and troubleshooting of enterprise servers, mobile devices, networking devices and cables, and related IT equipment. Works with the full stack of Microsoft enterprise tools to develop and maintain Microsoft-technology-focused networks and server environments. Utilize Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Active Directory to troubleshoot and deploy images. Modifies group membership, user profiles, and utilizes SCCM and Active Directory to troubleshoot client issues.
Configures and troubleshoots basic networking devices, and leverages DHCP and DNS to establish networking connections across the enterprise. Utilize mobile device management software to configure, monitor, manage, and secure user mobile devices. Performs intense troubleshooting and problem resolution for multiple locations and networks. Works with other IT professionals as directed to coordinate efforts, troubleshooting peripheral and hardware issues, resolve cross-team issues, communicates, and track changes for classified, unclassified, and special communications networks.
You’ll Need to Succeed
- Required Degree and
Experience:
BA/BS and 5+ years of experience - Required Certification: DoD 8570 compliant certification for IAT Level II
- Required Technical
Skills:- Experience setting Microsoft Windows Server and configuring DNS, DHCP, and DFS-R/N.
- Experience using SCCM/MECM and WSUS to image and patch.
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange and customer mailboxes.
- Knowledge of general wiring and cabling skills, such as CAT6 and fiber cabling and termination.
- Experience with personal computers, terminal, peripheral equipment and associated software repair, installation, configuration and system operation
- Experience with configuration of Android and iPhones and utilizing a Mobile Device Management tool to manage mobile devices.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and take initiative in identifying and addressing challenges.
- Effective communications and listening skills.

Salary: The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
