CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for an AI/ML Operations Engineer within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities.

The AI/ML Operations Engineer role is a senior-level professional responsible for implementing and maintaining agentic AI systems alignment with CIO7 s mission.

This position is located in our Arlington, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

• Pipeline Automation:
  Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for ML models (e.g., using Git Lab, Jenkins, Airflow).
• Model Deployment:
  Containerize (Docker, Kubernetes) and deploy models for real-time or batch inference.
• Infrastructure Management:
  Build scalable ML infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Monitoring & Maintenance:
  Implement monitoring for model performance, data drift, and system health; automate retraining.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate models into software.
• Testing & Validation:
  Automate testing, validation, and version control for models and data.
• Optimization:
  Improve model performance, scalability, and resource efficiency.
• Documentation & Governance:
  Maintain records, lineage, and SOPs for compliance and audits.

• Education and/or
  
  Experience:
  
  Must have at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI
• Travel:
  Must be available for worldwide assignment based on mission needs at government-specified locations, including CCMD environments.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $.
