B&A is seeking a Senior FM Certification Lead to oversee and advance the Department of the Air Force Financial Management Certification Program. The Lead will be responsible for tracking workforce certification and training, managing dashboards, coordinating with Component Administrators, delivering enterprise training, and ensuring compliance with DoD and Air Force FM certification policies.
Responsibilities- Serve as Lead Component Administrator (LCA) for DAF Financial Management Certification Program (DFMCP).
- Track initial certifications and Continuing Education/Training (CET) status.
- Coordinate with Command and Field-Level Component Administrators (CAs).
- Conduct policy and data analysis, manage certification dashboards aggregating data from multiple sources (DCPDS, milPDS, FM LMS).
- Deliver quarterly enterprise training to the FM workforce.
- Prepare monthly FM Certification status meeting materials (agenda, slides, metrics) and maintain documentation on Government share drives.
- Ensure adherence to DoDI 1300.26, AFI 65-117, and OUSD(C) policy.
- Maintain and update the DAF FM Certification Status Dashboard; develop documentation and deliver user training for Command and Unit CAs.
- Perform Course Mapping & Inventory Management;
Dashboard Development & Maintenance. - Maintain readiness and professional development of the FM workforce across the Department of the Air Force enterprise.
- Monitor and respond to the SAF/FME FM Certification workflow mailbox; triage inquiries and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in financial management, Adult Education, Human Capital, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive DoD financial management experience.
- Minimum 4 years as Lead Component Administrator (LCA) or equivalent at OUSD(C) or Component level within the last 5 years.
- Working knowledge of:
DoDI 1300.26, AFI 65-117, DoD Financial Management Certification Program (DFMCP) - Minimum 5 years' experience in:
Course-to-Competency (C2C) mapping for DFMCP, tracking certification/CET status, delivering enterprise training. - Experience managing and updating information in collaborative platforms (SharePoint, Teams).
- Expertise in DoD FM certification policy, training program administration, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Teams, and enterprise-level certification management tools.
- Ability to develop and deliver policy guidance, training sessions, and compliance briefings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; preparation of reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex policy and regulatory guidance to workforce certification challenges.
- Experience developing executive dashboards and compliance tracking metrics.
- Ability to identify data quality issues, root causes, and recommend remediation actions.
- Experience aggregating and analyzing data from multiple disparate systems.
- Expertise in DoD FM certification policy, training program administration, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Teams, and enterprise-level certification management tools.
- Ability to develop and deliver policy guidance, training sessions, and compliance briefings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; preparation of reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex policy and regulatory guidance to workforce certification challenges.
- Experience developing executive dashboards and compliance tracking metrics.
