Our team of experienced military, technical, and operations research analysts evaluates problems, identifies drivers, devises innovative approaches, collects data, develops tools, and performs timely assessments to inform technology and acquisition governance decisions. Ops Net Technical SETA to provide onsite support at DARPA, Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite support to the Advanced Resilience portfolio in the area of next‑generation classified network development for enterprise‑scale computing and operational functions.
  • Offer expert technical advice and guidance on enhancing resilience and survivability against cyber and physical threats.
  • Support development of secure, variable‑trust endpoints using risk‑informed inputs and security mechanisms across diverse computing platforms.
  • Coordinate meetings, assess performer technical progress, project outcomes, and ensure project management best practices.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports, briefings, and presentations to government officials and stakeholders.
  • Apply network engineering expertise with DoD classified networks, including design, implementation, operations, and maintenance of enterprise, tactical, or expeditionary communications networks.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, monitor novel development, and contribute to resilient classified network, service, endpoint, and architecture development.

Qualifications

  • Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, network development, network security, and/or enterprise systems.
  • Firsthand experience with research and/or development of secure platforms, endpoint security software, and information security systems.
  • Substantial experience with decentralized software services across various transport types and levels of service.
  • Substantial experience with private‑key encryption, authentication mechanisms, access control mechanisms, and endpoint security.
  • Experience with a variety of platform hardware and form factors (COTS, workstations, servers, fixed, mobile, etc.).
  • Familiarity with variable‑trust/variable‑security systems and services, Zero Trust concepts, and continuous integrity.
  • Experience with general‑purpose enterprise services.
  • Familiarity with System Certification and Accreditation.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Ability to work fully onsite based on client needs.
  • Desired
  • Master’s degree.
  • Experience with classified network accreditation and DoD cybersecurity activities.
  • Experience with clandestine or covert operations.
  • Experience with cyber operations.
  • Experience working with Special Access Programs (SAPs)/CAPs.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
