Position OverviewSenior Cyber Threat Analyst – responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring security measures; assessing vulnerabilities; and conducting advanced cyber threat analysis. Requires TS/SCI clearance and in-depth knowledge of cyber threats, actors, and vectors to protect critical networks and information systems.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security measures to safeguard computer networks and sensitive information.
- Assess system vulnerabilities, identify security risks, and develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that appropriate security controls are in place to protect digital files and electronic infrastructure.
- Respond to computer security breaches, malware incidents, and other cybersecurity threats.
- Analyze cyber threats, vectors, and adversaries at a strategic level to support cyber defense and network operations.
- Conduct technical and all-source analysis using forensics, network vulnerability assessments, and malware analysis.
- Maintain situational awareness of local, regional, and international cyber threats, including attribution of cyber organizations, programs, capabilities, motivations, and intent.
- Provide actionable insights and intelligence to leadership and operational teams.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- At least 8+ years of experience in cyber threat analysis, cybersecurity operations, and network defense.
- Proficiency in forensic analysis, malware analysis, and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Strong understanding of cyber threat actors, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and mitigation strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with government or defense-related cyber operations.
- Familiarity with intelligence reporting and all-source analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCTI, or equivalent.
