The Senior Data Architect is responsible for developing data warehousing blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems to support large‑scale government operations.

• Work in a data warehouse environment, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation.
• Evaluate the reusability of current data for additional analyses.
• Translate business needs into long‑term architecture solutions.
• Define, design, and build dimensional databases.
• Conduct data cleaning to remove obsolete, unused, or duplicate data.
• Review object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 8+ years of experience.
• IBM Certified Data Architect, AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty, or an equivalent industry certification.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT‑II compliant.
• TS/SCI clearance required.

• Experience developing and documenting database architectures via architectural strategies at the modeling, design, and implementation stages.
• Experience designing proposed systems; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, backup, and recovery.
• Experience with ETL (extract, transform, load) best practices in the creation of the database.
• Experience determining database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming.
• Experience managing data structures at the design phase of SQL and Non‑SQL database management.
• Experience executing projects/programs with similar requirements.
