We seek an engagement manager to collaborate across roles to understand a customer’s mission objectives and define project goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Understand customer needs, missions, and success metrics, and ensure exceeding expectations in developing and delivering solutions.
• Lead peers, small teams, or groups of teams comprising AWS members, customer stakeholders, and vendors to create and execute plans.
• Identify and mitigate limitations to execution.
• Guide customers through their cloud journey to transform business.
• Leverage AWS mechanisms to help customers envision strategic goals and requirements.
• Use agile delivery methodology to lead project teams while managing scope, schedule, and cost.
• Execute project plans, resolve issues, and elevate when appropriate.
• Enable stakeholder capabilities and increase cloud adoption.
• Manage a matrixed team across multi-stream agile engagements.
• Plan, organize, and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, capturing requirements, governance, schedules, budgets, and defining success criteria.
• Ensure goal alignment across stakeholders of various groups.
• Communicate tailored updates to executives and detailed sprint plans.
• Apply judgment to challenge, recommend, and redirect teams.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking, foresee risks, and make decisions with limited guidance.
• Manage scope, timeline, and budget of each project.
• Act as a strategic business partner to help customers achieve mission outcomes.
• Convey customer and partner feedback to improve AWS products and services.
• Travel to client locations and deliver professional services as required.

• Minimum 2 years of leading multiple Agile teams (e.g., Scrum Masters, Product Owners) concurrently or at scale.
• Minimum 5 years of cloud computing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field.
• Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience delivering enterprise‑level IT engagements.

• Minimum 5 years of delivering customer engagements in a professional services role.
• Active project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI‑ACP, PRINCE2).
• AWS certification.
• Experience with Agile and project management tools such as Jira, Rally, Version One, or Taiga.
• Experience presenting to C‑level executives and other stakeholders.
