Join Leidos as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer and be a part of a pivotal program supporting the National Digital Exploitation & OSINT Center (NDOC). In this hands‑on engineering role, you’ll play a key part in enhancing our cloud, virtualization, and hybrid infrastructure initiatives across mission‑critical enterprise environments. Your expertise will be vital in modernizing, securing, and maintaining cloud‑hosted and on‑premises infrastructure for operational mission systems.

This is a 100% on‑site position, with all work performed at the customer site in Bethesda at the Intelligence Community Campus.

• Design, deploy, manage, and sustain secure hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, VMware, and on‑premises environments.
• Support various virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi, vCenter, Hyper‑V, VDI, and cloud‑native technologies.
• Engineer and maintain cloud networking solutions including VPCs, VNets, VPNs, routing, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and network segmentation.
• Deploy and maintain containerized environments utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
• Monitor system performance, cloud utilization, scalability, and operational health.
• Troubleshoot cloud, network, virtualization, storage, and infrastructure issues, performing root‑cause analysis.
• Implement security best practices including IAM, RBAC, encryption, vulnerability remediation, and Zero Trust principles.
• Support RMF, ICD 503, NIST 800‑53, STIG and other cybersecurity compliance requirements.
• Assist with migration and modernization of legacy systems into cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with Systems, Network, Storage, Security, Database, Citrix, and Data Center teams for integrated enterprise operations.

• Experience supporting AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, VMware, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi, vCenter, Hyper‑V, or Open Stack.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container platforms.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, subnets, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Experience supporting both Linux and Windows enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops , CI/CD pipelines, automation, and scripting using Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Must meet DoD 8140/8570.11‑ IAT Level II certification requirements (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA‑Security, GSEC, or SSCP with an appropriate computing environment (CE) certification).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical discipline with 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 10 years. Equivalent experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

• US Citizenship is required.
• TS/SCI with Poly required for position or TS/SCI with a willingness to obtain a poly.

• Experience supporting DoD, DIA, Intelligence Community, or classified cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS C2S, Azure Government, or hybrid classified cloud architectures.
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture and enterprise IAM solutions.
• Experience with monitoring platforms like Splunk, Elastic, SIEM/SOAR.
