Technical Control Facility Trainer

Overview

We are seeking a Technical Control Facility Trainer to join our team supporting DISA JSP ETM in Arlington, VA.

Location:

Arlington, VA. The position requires U.S. citizenship and Top Secret/SCI clearance.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive training program in accordance with DISAC 310-70-1, tailored to the specific requirements of technical control facility operations.
• Develop a training plan and schedule for all personnel, ensuring coverage of key technical areas and compliance with contract requirements.
• Provide hands‑on training on troubleshooting circuits configured in the Tech Control training lab to simulate operational environments.
• Configure and maintain the Tech Control training lab with equipment simulating actual tech control equipment, trunks, and circuits.
• Conduct weekly in‑person training classes for initial station qualification and periodic classes thereafter to maintain training currency. Training must include hands‑on troubleshooting of circuits in the lab.
• Monitor and maintain training records for all personnel.
• Stay updated on advancements in telecommunications technology and incorporate relevant changes into training programs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure training programs align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Have experience with BICSI installation regulations and standards.

• Experience:
  
  5+ years in Technical Control Facility Operations or a closely related field.
• Certifications:
  
  CompTIA Security+ CE; CCNA or CCNA Collaboration.
• Clearance:
  Must possess Top Secret/SCI clearance.

• Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
