Cloud Technical Account Manager, WWPS Partners PS

About the Role

AWS Global Services includes experts who help customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will be the principal technical advisor and ‘voice of the customer’ to organizations ranging from start‑ups to Fortune 500 enterprises. You’ll provide consultative architectural and operational guidance to help them achieve the greatest value from AWS, through engagements such as Strategic Business Reviews, Security Improvement Programs, guided Well‑Architected reviews, workshops, and proactive services.

The position requires a US Citizen and may require travel of at least 10%. You will represent AWS within the customer’s environment, drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade‑offs, support and risk management, and keep customer environments operationally healthy and resilient.

• Bachelor’s degree
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 4+ years of technical work experience
• 2+ years of technical engineering experience
• Experience in Information Technology operations

• Experience in an internal enterprise or external customer‑facing environment as a technical lead
• Experience with development in a distributed systems environment
• Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment
• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
• Understanding of the AWS Well‑Architected Framework pillars and ability to apply them to existing or new customer architecture, implementations, and/or solutions
• Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more executive team member(s)
• Strong foundation in data modeling, database design, and architecting data solutions that support scalable, well‑structured systems
• Experience applying technical or operational expertise to identify, balance trade‑offs, and solve difficult challenges

The base salary range for this position is summarized below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
