Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks Engagement Managers who can understand customers’ needs, align their mission objectives with technology solutions, and lead multi‑stream Agile teams through successful project delivery.

• Understand customer missions, success metrics, and define project goals.
• Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams, including AWS personnel, client stakeholders, SMEs, and vendors.
• Develop and execute project plans, manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
• Use agile delivery methodology to manage sprint plans, updates, and financial reporting.
• Guide customers through cloud transformation, recommend AWS services, and facilitate adoption.
• Communicate status to executive and functional audiences, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Apply judgment to challenge teams, resolve issues, and recommend improvements.

• 2+ years leading multiple Agile teams concurrently or at scale.
• 5+ years cloud computing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field.
• Knowledge of public cloud value proposition and engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience delivering enterprise‑level IT engagements.

• 5+ years delivering customer engagements in a professional services role.
• Active project management certification (APM, CSM, PMI‑ACP, PRINCE2).
• AWS certification.
• Experience with Agile and project management tools such as Jira, Rally, Version One, or Taiga.
• Experience presenting to C‑level executives and cross‑functional business units.

The base salary range is $153,600 to $207,700 USD annually. Amazon offers sign‑on payments, restricted stock units, comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
