SQL Database Engineer

D A LABS is currently looking for a talented SQL database engineer. As a SQLserver engineer with D A LABS a candidate would be responsible for day to day maintenance of SQL instance deployed internally and within our customers enclaves. Beyond the day to day duties as a SQL engineer a candidate will be required to facilitate archival of all data stores.

The job site is 2101 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA. This DBA position requires 2 years specialized network IT experience and a bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field.

Our firm is a small business located in Arlington Virginia.

• Two years + experience with SQL server administration
• Experience with active active SQLserver clustering
• Extensive experience with SQLserver patching
• Understanding of underlying storage technologies (SAN/RAID/LUN)
• Ability to work independently
• Capable of taking responsibility for database without hand holding
• Ability to work with systems team to setup monitors for database
• Capable of ensuring backups are configured, completed and tested

• 2 years specialized network IT experience and a bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field
