Job Description Join the growing Warfare Systems Business Group at HII-Mission Technologies! We are seeking a Mid-Senior Project Analyst (Systems Application Analyst) to support the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). This role plays a key part in bridging business needs with technical solutions by gathering and analyzing requirements, supporting data engineering and analysis activities, and contributing to the modernization of enterprise systems in AWS cloud environments.

The ideal candidate excels at understanding complex business processes, translating them into clear system specifications, and ensuring solutions deliver maximum value to DSCA stakeholders in the National Capital Region.

Job Responsibilities Develops and configures systems specifications that address business requirements, processes, and that fit with the company's system architecture standards. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility, and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.

Revises existing systems and tests functionality of the system to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, data integrity, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage. May document testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations. May act as a liaison with other business functions. Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, including end-users, program managers, and technical teams, to capture detailed functional and non-functional requirements.

Perform data engineering and data analysis tasks to support system design, reporting, and decision-making processes. Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements through system enhancements, automation, or new capabilities. Support the development and maintenance of system documentation, including specifications, user stories, process flows, and interface control documents. Collaborate with technical teams on system design, integration, testing, and deployment activities, with emphasis on AWS cloud data environments.

Evaluate and recommend solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards, data governance policies, and DoD compliance requirements. Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders…
