Job Description Join the growing Warfare Systems Business Group at HII-Mission Technologies! We are seeking a Mid-Level QA Software Tester (Programmer Analyst) to support the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications and data platforms. You will design and execute test strategies, develop automated test scripts, and work with modern technologies including Python, SQL, Databricks, ADVANA, React, and Flask to deliver high-quality solutions that support DSCA’s mission of security cooperation, transparency, and data-driven decision making.

Job Responsibilities Builds and codes applications and/or modules using primarily Python. May design graphical user interface (GUI) to meet the specific needs of users. Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-based solutions.

Perform manual and automated testing across front-end (React), back-end (Flask/Python), and data platforms (Databricks, SQL, ADVANA). Design and implement automated test frameworks using Python and industry-standard tools to support functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Collaborate closely with developers, data engineers, and product teams to identify, document, and track defects through the full software development lifecycle. Validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity within Databricks and ADVANA environments.

Conduct API testing, database validation (SQL), and end-to-end testing of mission-critical applications. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, providing clear testing status and risk assessments. Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes, test automation standards, and overall software quality practices. Document test results, create defect reports, and support root cause analysis for complex issues.

Performs additional duties as assigned or required to advance mission goals.

Minimum Qualifications Solid experience in software quality assurance and testing (manual + automated). Proficiency with Python for test automation and scripting.
