You’ll join a diverse team of technical experts in dozens of countries who help customers achieve more with the AWS cloud.

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will be the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer for Amazon Web Services Enterprise Support. You will help craft and execute strategies to drive customers’ adoption and use of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Dynamo

DB, RDS, Lambda, Cloud Front, Gen/AI, IoT, and more. Your technical acumen and customer‑facing skills will enable you to represent AWS within a customer’s environment and lead discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade‑offs, support, and risk management.

You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, proactively maintain the operational health of customers’ AWS environments, and build close relationships to understand their business and technical challenges. This position requires the ability to travel 10% or more as needed.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Work with engineering and service teams to resolve customer support issues while focusing on long‑term solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand customer adoption of AWS services.
  • Represent AWS within customers’ environments and advocate for best practices.
  • Engage senior leadership on incidents, risk management, and technical trade‑offs.
A Day in the Life

Each day involves providing advocacy and strategic technical guidance, building relationships with customers, and ensuring their AWS environments remain healthy and scalable. Travel as required to meet with customers and partner teams.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of design, implementation, operations, or consulting experience with distributed applications.
  • 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
  • Experience in an internal enterprise or external customer‑facing environment as a technical lead.

The base salary range for this position is listed below:  –  USD annually.
