As an access and data tagging specialist on our team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for data tagging. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by ensuring data is only available to the intended audience.
In this role, you’ll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices, and use tools like Collibra or Alation. You’ll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

You Have:- 3+ years of experience in data governance, data stewardship, data quality, or metadata management
- Experience applying and maintaining metadata, labels, or tags to datasets and data assets at scale
- Experience working with databases or data platforms to manage access and metadata, and managing user access and permissions in enterprise systems
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM) concepts and tools
- Knowledge of data privacy and compliance requirements as they relate to data classification and handling
- Ability to collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure proper data usage and classification
- Ability to document data standards, tagging conventions, and governance procedures
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hiredate
- Experience partnering with data engineering teams to embed tagging and classification into pipelines
- Experience with automated data classification and tagging tools
- Experience working with data governance or catalog tools such as Collibra or Alation
