- Design and execute strategic user research projects using qualitative (e.g., cognitive walkthroughs, ethnographic studies, and semi-structured interviews) and quantitative methods (e.g., large‑scale surveys, customer telemetry data, and A/B testing) to uncover actionable customer insights at scale that improve the end‑user experience.
- Identify the best research methods and questions to optimize research phases: defining objectives, target users, protocol development, data collection, analysis, and synthesis across the product development lifecycle with business goals, timelines, and resourcing in mind.
- Perform quick but thorough analysis to create actionable findings and communicate timely results and opportunities.
- Interpret behavioral interaction data to inform both UI/UX decisions and product feature updates.

- Mentor and assist others in implementing portions of the end‑to‑end research process (e.g., forming objectives, observing sessions, analysis, reporting).
- Raise UX and research fluency throughout the organization and grow knowledge in additional strategic research areas (e.g., generative AI, pricing, brand trust).
- Travel to conduct in‑person customer research meetings or telecommute to connect with customers and stakeholders distributed across the United States.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Human‑Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information Science, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in the job offered, applied user research, or a related occupation, with all aspects of the UX research lifecycle (study design, stakeholder involvement, planning, recruiting, moderation, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, reporting, communication, visualization, and knowledge management).
- 3+ years of experience with core usability tools and platforms and research methods, including qualitative and quantitative, attitudinal and behavioral, and generative and evaluative techniques.
- 3+ years of experience managing and analyzing medium‑to‑large quantitative datasets using tools such as Excel or Tableau.
