The AWS Executive Visioning team is seeking an experienced, customer‑obsessed professional to help our most strategic customers envision what’s possible and innovate with us to make those visions reality. The role involves executing engagements with AWS’s most strategic customers, applying the proven Amazon “working backwards” methodology to uncover new partnerships, accelerate joint opportunities and test new ideas.
Success requires the proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders in a customer‑facing role within a large, matrixed organization, guiding customer‑facing teams. The right candidate has experience managing C‑suite engagements, is compelling in creative brainstorming environments, and has experience in the technology industry.
Key Responsibilities- Planning senior‑level executive engagements to accelerate customer‑focused innovation and elevate AWS relationships. Coordination with multiple stakeholder groups and subject matter experts to understand customer needs, and account planning activities.
- Develop customer briefings through market research and customer interviews.
- Develop key relationships with AWS sellers to align engagements and account strategies with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Navigate business units within Amazon to align partnership opportunities.
- Obsessively improve customer interactions by capturing feedback to iterate program management, processes and artifacts.
- Regularly report on progress and impact for team and sponsors.
- Inspect EVs business, improve and develop standard operating procedures, and identify gaps and implement solutions to create efficiencies for the team.
- Constantly innovate and improve programs and program management mechanisms, suggesting new ideas and best practices for improving the business and customer engagement and sharing artifacts within the AWS Knowledge Management system.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills; able to articulate customer and stakeholder recommendations, balance trade‑offs, drive consensus, and gain support by utilizing excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication.
- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience selling enterprise software or cloud‑based applications
- Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
Locations and base salary ranges:
- San Francisco, CA: $162,700 – $220,200
- New York, NY: $162,700 – $220,200
- Austin, TX: $147,900 – $200,100
- Arlington, VA: $147,900 – $200,100
- Seattle, WA: $147,900 – $200,100
Your compensation will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
