AWS WWPS Govtech sales team is hiring a Senior Account Manager to lead transformative deals and redefine how Gov Techs innovate with cloud and Agentic AI. Bring your passion for building businesses, your operational excellence, and deep industry insights to help our customers accelerate their digital transformations at scale.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will manage and grow Mid‑Market Gov Tech accounts in the US. You will own the go‑to‑market strategy and execution for strategic accounts, drive revenue growth, and set the vision for how AWS partners with our customers to reshape the industry.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain trusted senior relationships with assigned Gov Tech accounts. Foster partnerships anchored on customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner Organization, Marketing, Customer Success) to solve customers' most complex business and technical challenges.
- Use data and metrics to manage pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales productivity.
- Identify transformational opportunities, de‑risk execution, and replicate success through scalable plays and mechanisms.
- Accelerate customer adoption and develop long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts.
- Experience managing and growing large accounts, product marketing or management consulting roles.
- Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, demonstrating a strong familiarity with decision‑making processes in enterprise customers.
- Deep understanding of cloud, infrastructure, data, analytics, and AI/ML with ability to translate technology into strategic business outcomes.
- Experience delivering results for large, cross‑functional initiatives or projects.
- Experience personally closing large complex deals end‑to‑end.
- Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage.
- 10+ years of sales experience.
Base salary: $–$ (United States, NY, New York); $–$ (United States, TX, Austin) or (United States, VA, Arlington). Your Amazon package includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
