Are you the type of Solutions Architect who thrives when paired to a single strategic customer and given the runway to become their most trusted AWS technical advisor? This role requires deep AWS technical breadth and the ability to operate within a mission‑driven financial‑services organization that treats each technology decision as an extension of its values.

• Act as the customer's dedicated AWS technical advisor of record, the single named SA the customer’s IT, security, AI, and executive teams turn to for hard technical decisions.
• Lead architectural elevation across all active AWS engagements, ensuring alignment with the customer’s regulatory environment and operating model.
• Apply the GenAI Innovation Center + AI Development Life‑Cycle accelerator to move GenAI proof‑of‑concept work into production‑launched outcomes.
• Partner with AWS Professional Services for pre‑SOW architect input, mid‑engagement guidance, and post‑engagement production‑readiness review.
• Operate the Sales‑SA partnership cadence with the account sales team: weekly stand‑ups, monthly reviews, quarterly planning, and ad‑hoc executive engagement.
• Drive opportunity‑pipeline integrity for all customer engagements.
• Adopt and promote the NPO SA org’s Kiro CLI + MCP toolchain for account‑management automation, reducing administrative overhead.
• Contribute to the AWS NPO Technical Field Community by sharing reusable GenAI architecture patterns.
• Travel approximately 25-35%, primarily to the customer’s headquarters for executive briefings, workshops, on‑site reviews, and industry events.

A typical week begins with a Monday morning stand‑up with the Account Executive, followed by weekday architectural reviews with the customer’s enterprise architecture team, security deep‑dives with the CISO, and internal tool‑automation sessions. Thursdays involve aligning with the AWS Bedrock team, and Fridays close the week with executive‑level reviews. Monthly, time is set aside for in‑person HQ trips, GenAIIC partner sessions, and contributing to the broader NPO SA org.

The AWS Worldwide Public Sector U.S. Nonprofits (NPO) Solutions Architecture organization helps mission‑driven nonprofits use AWS to expand impact. Customers include membership associations, credit unions, faith‑based organizations, foundations, and public‑broadcasting entities. Technical decisions in cloud migration, GenAI adoption, data strategy, and security directly support their mission outcomes.

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of technology domain experience (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

• Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev‑ops perspective.

Salary ranges by location:
Austin, TX – $ to $ USD annually;
Arlington, VA – $ to $ USD annually;
Seattle, WA – $ to $ USD annually. The total compensation package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) and will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
