CGI Federal offers a Database Architect role in the Intel sector, advancing national security through cutting‑edge technology. The successful candidate will stay current with emerging technologies and apply this knowledge within a collaborative team to deliver state‑of‑the‑art capabilities.

• Develop integrated data systems and ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure.
• Implement strategies to protect data integrity and maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Optimize database performance, ensuring scalability and efficient handling of growing data volumes.
• Collaborate with software developers, IT teams, and business leaders to align data strategies with business objectives.
• Evaluate and select appropriate database technologies and platforms.
• Establish policies, standards, and best practices for data management and access.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 5 – 10 years experience in database architecture.
• TS/SCI clearance required; ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly highly desired.
• Proficiency with multiple database management systems.
• Strong SQL knowledge for querying and managing databases.
• Experience with cloud‑based data storage and management solutions.
• Skill in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Ability to design robust, scalable, and secure data architectures.
• Strong problem‑solving skills related to database performance and functionality.
