Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) seeks a highly skilled Engagement Manager (EM) to lead delivery of complex cloud solution projects, combining technical expertise with project leadership to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions.
Key Job Responsibilities- Lead and manage complex cloud migration and implementation projects.
- Leverage comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.
- Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitate engineering discussions and ensure alignment with customer business outcomes.
- Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.
- Decompose complex technical problems into actionable deliverable solutions.
- Contribute to technical documentation and define documentation standards.
- Validate technical solutions against business goals, recognize when additional technical evaluation is needed, and manage technical risks.
- Achieve and maintain relevant AWS certifications, develop domain–specific expertise, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, resolve issues, and drive projects to successful completion while exceeding customer expectations.
- Experience leading engagements using industry-standard program management techniques, including Agile at scale delivery frameworks and project management toolsets.
- 8+ years of cloud computing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coordinating and leading large-scale Digital or Global IT Transformation initiatives.
- AWS Cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect – Associate.
- Experience coordinating between technical teams, peers, and business stakeholders.
- AWS experience preferred.

Base salary range: USA, NY, New York – $ - $ USD annually; USA, VA, Arlington – $ - $ USD annually.
