Job Summary

We’re seeking a Power Engineer to support the Department of State in Rosslyn, VA, contingent upon successful contract award expected Spring 2026.

• Provide technical support for all phases of counter‑measure systems—pre‑installation, installation, and post‑installation.
• Coordinate all reporting, including pre‑ and post‑trip technical reports and summaries.
• Assist in the evaluation and development of new counter‑measure systems and test equipment; document capabilities, identify potential limitations, and recommend improvements.
• Support the training of Department of State personnel in the maintenance, installation, and operation of specific counter‑measures.
• Conduct independent research on emerging technologies and perform laboratory or field testing with minimal oversight.
• Draft and review technical security policies and operational guidelines, facilitate their integration into Department of State facilities, and gather information on new technologies.
• Write detailed reports, assist with the generation of user manuals and other documentation, and draft surveys for new installations.
• Coordinate travel and site support, assist with equipment upgrades, repairs, replacements, and provide user training on multiple systems.
